When you choose to write articles for search engine optimization or submitting to article directories, you will need to follow some rules. If you are not, then your work will be in vain – all for nothing.

You must have some simple reasons on why you want to write to make money. For me it is the creative process as well as the knowledge that I do get paid for submitting my articles.

I can pretty much figure how many hours I need to invest with which company in order to get paid so much every month. So far I haven’t had an article rejected yet, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen sometime. But even if it does, I will just need to tweak the article a bit more and should have no problem getting it approved.

Earning money on the internet by writing articles is big business and is continually growing. Even though we chose to write to get instant pay, there is also another way for us to make money. This way is called the backdoor approach. The backdoor approach will bring visitors to your website from article directories and blog directories. Given that you submit articles on a regular basis first.

This backdoor traffic might give you a nice separate stream of income via promotions, reviews, affiliate programs, Amazon and lots more. It will enable you to spike your website with affiliate links and if somebody ends up buying through your link you will get paid a commission as an affiliate.

 

This is how most affiliate marketers earn money. If you write articles with the intention of making money you will need to put some thought towards search term popularity.

If nobody searches for what you write about, then no one will visit your website.

When people search for information on the internet they normally visit a search engine. They will type a search request of finding whatever they are looking for. If there is no information but many searches containing a term means you found the “gold pot” or what many people call a “niche”. In order to be successful with niche marketing you have to think outside the box. You will also need to do some testing and tweaking.

 

Article writing is a learned skill that can be done by most people. You will not be a professional writer the instant you start. 

But if you write every day for the rest of you life then you can be very 

successful in months and years to come. Practice really makes perfect.
