You also did the right thing and did some research before throwing your money out. I have seen one blogger using the attomic blogging theme so far but I'll be damned if I could remember who it was. If memory serves me right, it was an Asian blogger. When it was released it looked ok, but I'm also convinced that you can save your money and get a free theme that will look just as good.
