I know this is a rather personal question, but one that is essential in it’s own right. If you are blogging with the intention of making money, then you will need to take a long and hard look at your blog. Does it make you money? If yes, what resources do you use to your benefit? Maybe you are successful with Google Adwords and make some nice bonuses every month? I can tell you that this certainly didn’t work for me. I also know that I might have not concentrated enough on this. But it wasn’t a priority and that is where the money making secret really lies. You need to look at your priorities and why you are blogging in the first place.

To make money with your blog content is of importance. The better and the more - the merrier for your valet. I received an email from Yaro Starak over at Blogmastermind. He charges a hefty $77/month to teach you to earn money with your blog. Personally I find this a bit steep. I know that Yaro is a master in it’s own right and he certainly knows what he is talking about regarding blogging and money making skills.

To earn money with your blog first requires dedication and second you need to write consistently. If you don’t update your blog at all, then nothing will happen. You won’t get traffic, which means no money. This is the ultimate holy grail of successful blogging. Update often and write good and relevant content. I know that by being passionate about your subject the words will flow easily. Therefore there are much less chances of getting writers block. If it does strike, then simply cruise the Internet and other related blogs to get new found inspiration.

So how do you earn money with your blog?

It doesn’t matter what works for you, as long as it does work and is legal and you are happy. If you think your income is lacking with your blog, you might want to look at other possibilities and test those.
Blogging is an ever changing and evolving platform. As the blog is “alive” if will always grow, change and get better, provided you do post relevant information. A blog that is loaded with advertisements is a lot of rubbish and will never get you anywhere in the long run.

Focus on the quality of your blog when you first start out and build on this. It is very much possible to earn money with blogging. It won’t happen overnight, but stick with your blog and keep writing and then it is highly possible that it might happen for you too.
