Make Money – How Much Can I Make?

Make Money – How Much Can I Make? This question has to be one of the most popular on the Internet. For good reasons too I believe. Many new marketers are confused by the sheer wealth of information and opportunities available to them. So they follow every new trend, buy the latest craze in ebooks and think this is “the one” that is going to help them make money.

I’m sorry to burst your bubble, but thats not how it works. To help console you, I did the very same thing myself. I honestly cannot count the amount of ebooks collecting cyber dust on my hard drive that promised me instant riches in Lala land. Thinking that I spent hundreds of dollars on the hunt for the “holy grail” of Internet marketing is an understatement. More so it would have been thousands of dollars.

So how did I get to make money eventually? Well, not that I know it is real simple. I stuck with one online revenue stream first until I saw results. Then I just duplicated that and the money kept coming more and more. Later on I ventured into some other avenues and mastered them too.

But the purpose of this blog entry is not about how I started make money. It is about you and what you should and shouldn’t do to make money yourself.

  1. You should stop to buy every ebook and report that promises you Internet riches and success!
  • Instead take the books you currently have and re-read them. Then focus on ONE form of income generating activity for one month. Try to stick with this and learn the ins and outs of this method. Join forums that purposely discuss those methods and become an expert at what you do. It will later serve you well once you start marketing yourself.
  1. Understand the fact that to make money online, it will take some time
  • Besides, it will only happen if you consistently work on your business and stay focused in your activities.
  • Also choose money making activities instead of browsing websites, participating in forums and sending copious amounts of emails to your friends. Those activities won’t help you to earn money.
  1. Be patient with your progress
  • Don’t compare yourself to others as they have different backgrounds, education and strength to yours.
  • Work with your own gifts and ability to do certain things better than others.
  • You might even want to outsource small tasks that are affordable for you such as website building, blog setup etc.
  1. Give yourself kudos for things you have achieved!
  • Celebrate each step but never loose sight of the big picture.
  • You deserve to be successful!
  • Take breaks and learn to balance between your business, work and your life (that’s something I’m still struggling with) :-)

In end effect the amount of money you will make on the Internet depends entirely on you. I can’t control your work ethics and your habits only you can do this. Once you make a decision stick with it and don’t despair if you make mistakes. believe me when I say that I made plenty in my time. And you know what? These days I look forward to making them as I now know – mistakes are what help me to move forward and make money.
