The widgets from mybloglog and blogcatalog are much smarter because the users eyes are drawn to the images. To be successful I think they'll need to open up to allowing users to customize the widget in an Adsense kind of way. I feel like i’m the only blogger out there that hasn’t covered this announcement :D
