Having a Few Hickups

As you have probably seen, I’m in the middle of changing over to my new theme. I’m having some issues with the php coding and it might take a bit to get it fixed. For starters the recent comments section is playing up and I’m really not sure why that is. Secondly, the posts go all warped looking with all the writing being underlined as soon as one clicks on an actual post to see it in detail. Again not sure why that is.

But I’m sure it can be fixed with some trial and errors on my behalf and if I’m lucky with a talented helping hand. Anyway, just thought I keep you all posted.

Thanks for the patience

Monika

Holy Crap… and to think I knew you when…

The site looks amazing hiccups and all. Monika you work harder than anyone I know in this business – love your writing and your style as always. Just dropped by to check up on you and see what I can steal.

For those of you who are new to Monika’s site she is the real deal and one of the nicest people you will ever meet online.

    Cheers,

    Griz.

    Hi Monika,

Interesting place you have here! At first I thought I’d come to the wrong blog – it’s so very different. And bright! I had to put my shades on to read it… I’ll go away and come back a few times before I decide if I like it.

You’ve certainly got a lot more space for advertising with two sidebars – I like that feature (as you know I have it with some of my other blogs by not The Honest Way – yet).

    Mmmm…

    Terry :-)

I agree Terry, it is different from before, but I wanted the top navigation and two sidebars and a Web 2.0 look. I believe that when my blog hits the big numbers it will be attractive for advertisers as I have a lot of exposure where to place them.

At the moment I can simply use all this space for other things as networking widgets, etc.

I will be still swapping things around and a new header will be up as well eventually. Overall I love my new blog. And it is the only one of its kind too which helps.

Anyway I will be anxious to see whether you won’t fall in love with it as you did with my last one. :-)

    Hey Grizzly,

Your comment got lost in the Spam folder and I only saw it now. My apologies. I missed you man, been visiting over at your place often and its great to see you still around! :-)

Glad you like my shiny new bubble wrap. Have dissolved the problems thanks to my php developer. It was the css and some minor coding that needed changing.

Now it’s onto fine tuning the place.

    Steven,

Thank you for the heads up too. I really feel like I can keep up now with all the trends going on in the blogosphere. ;-)

    Monika
