How to Find a Niche in A Hurry
As I love going with the times, therefore I have decided to incorporate videos into my blog from now on. Generally I don’t believe in wasting my time looking at video sites like YouTube and the like as it is far too time consuming for me. But I do believe that if I happen to come across an instructional video I see I might as well share it with you so you can benefit from this knowledge as well. This video on how to find a niche in a hurry is a perfect example of what I mean.
When it comes to niche marketing we can never learn enough. For those who have no idea on where to even begin, you might want to watch this video as it will explain in detail how to do some keyword research. It is really a great way to find relevant niches in a hurry and will enable you to get things done much more efficiently.
Enjoy

That’s a good find. I can see more video blogs rising up as time goes by. I see pluses and minuses for them.
The plus: Easy to follow for tutorials, and visual learning always tends to stick better than stuff you have to read.
The minus: Will it signal the death of the written word? Probably not, but it might reduce the number of good well written blogs in favour of videos. That’s because many people are lazy and want to make an impact without going to too much trouble – it’s far easier to embed a video in a blog post than it is to write a really good 300 word one!
It echoes the get rich quick mentality, which we all know does not work!
Another plus: The above minus is better for us real writers, as it means more traffic coming to us as genuine readers turn off the videos in their droves…
I’m such an optimist, sometimes…

Terry,
I hear what you say and you are dead set right. Despite this I do believe that videos on blogs are the future. I actually knew this one year ago when I was involved in another business but the general blogging world has been slow to act on this.
Mark my words, it will happen!
For me, I choose to use videos wisely as I love writing far too much to be satisfied with a quick video as a regular thing.
They add great stimulation and are just another grain of salt mixed into the soup of blogging.

That’s a kick ass video.
Great find there. Anyway, I dont think videos can really totally replace written blogs because there’s only so much a spider can crawl on video blogs.
Although yes, videos are really helpful somtimes but lets just think of them as bonuses or boosts to stimulate an already great writing system.

The video seems to have disappeared from the post?
I think the written word might have better lasting power than this new fangled “video” think
Cheers,

@ Erin: Welcome to my blog, it is nice to have you here. I’m sure you’ll get to live your life as a freelance writer if you keep applying what you learn. As for the video on niche marketing, I’m not even sure anymore which one that was. When I upgraded my site’s theme late last I lost a lot of my images and videos previously featured on the blog. I have yet to go into each of these posts and delete the mention or non-working links.
You are welcome to write a guest post if you like as long as it fits with the topic of this blog. Just compose it in word, don’t forget to insert a link to your site and send it to me by email. My email is info [at] thewritersmanifesto.com
I look forward to hear from you.
