Anyway, I dont think videos can really totally replace written blogs because there's only so much a spider can crawl on video blogs. Despite this I do believe that videos on blogs are the future. I actually knew this one year ago when I was involved in another business but the general blogging world has been slow to act on this. Mark my words, it will happen! :-) For me, I choose to use videos wisely as I love writing far too much to be satisfied with a quick video as a regular thing. The plus: Easy to follow for tutorials, and visual learning always tends to stick better than stuff you have to read. The minus: Will it signal the death of the written word? Probably not, but it might reduce the number of good well written blogs in favour of videos. That's because many people are lazy and want to make an impact without going to too much trouble - it's far easier to embed a video in a blog post than it is to write a really good 300 word one!
