Google Page Rank From 0-3 in 1 Day

Well, not really but it does sound rather nice doesn’t it!? As of today it is finally official. Google are rolling out the long awaited Page Rank and my blog has gone from 0 – 3.

I stated before that I wasn’t really fazed about the whole PR discussion as I always felt like it would happen one day. And this day has arrived by the looks of it. Naturally it will make my blog more attractive to advertisers now if I was to choose that option. Many of the big boys went down from a 6 or 7 to 4 and nobody knows why. Many speculations have been made across the net in the last few weeks and in reality, we might never know why.

I’m really happy that most of my online friends have also gone up to a 3, 4 or even 5. This is great news despite the fact that it is only a number.

It my eyes the biggest bonus of getting a PR eventually is that it justifies our hard work. And it also states the point that by adding good content to our blogs it can benefit us in the future.

….so without further ado I have to keep going, got blogging to do. Page Rank

The big boys are back! ;)
Most have got their original PR back, check out Andy Beard’s post for a better idea: http://andybeard.eu/2007/10/pagerank-update-2.html

And congratulations on getting the PR3! Of course you deserve it!

Hello Monika – well done, I’ve just realised I’ve got a 3 as well. I’m in the middle of writing a blog about competition, partly to give my results for your writing competition, and its quite strange to be delighted for 3 out of 10!! But it does feel great!

Congrats Monika! It’s good to see that you’ll still get rewarded as long as good content is there. Hope it brings you further opportunities now! :)

Grizzly: LOL, shall I address you with master now? I bow to you my friend as you truly deserve this and I’m sure that I can learn a lot more from you.

Karthik: yes, I have seen some of them getting at least some of their PR points back and thanks for the good wishes.

David: well done, you absolutely deserve it too and I’m happy that so many of us got ranked at the same time.

Heather: thank you for the nice words. It sure does feel good, despite the fact that it’s only a number.

Em Dy: congratulations Em, looks like you also got a PR 3! You can check it by downloading free software. I use “search status” add on for Firefox. If you use Windows IE 7 or Firefox you can download the Google toolbar for free.

Terry: I reckon! Well done my friend I’m happy for us.

YC: thank you, I noticed that I am already getting more offers on PayPerPost. Not that I have done much with it lately, but it is good to know anyway and the offers also increase in revenue.

To all, thank you for your care and well wishes.
    Monika :-)

    Congratz, Monika.

    I got a pr4 myself, for techzilo.com

Too bad you conducted the writing project a bit late – otherwise, the links would’ve given atleast 4 for you.

    Sumesh,

Yeah I know, should have started last month, but then nobody really knew what is happening with PR anyway. I’m not too fussed about this as when the next update comes I should have enough weight to go higher.

Congratulations on your PR 4, that is awesome!
