Despite the fact that the Internet is home to some really bad people, bloggers and website owners worldwide have shown once again that blogging is all about being inspired by other people’s success. Unless you live on the moon, you would have heard about David Airey’s demise about his .com blog being “cracked” by a devious individual supposedly from Iran.

It happened in the week before Christmas and has resulted in a tremendous wave of support from bloggers all around the world. David has now finally gotten his domain back and his story is one of despair, frustration, resolve and happiness. Hearing about David really made me think in terms of how safe our domains really are?

Actually I just had some major revamping going on in my business. That is partly the reason why I haven’t posted for a little while. I’ve been lucky enough to buy myself a new laptop. The old one was 3 years old and started to annoy me in recent months because it inhibited my productivity.

The browser kept crashing and it was far to slow for my level of patience. So I spent the last week revamping my business and am still tying up loose ends here and there. Here is what I did that will help me start the new year with a clean slate:

Seriously, I have just been featured in a movie production amongst some other top bloggers around the world. My, did we have some fun rehearsing and then the action bit - that was simply out of this world.

Even though it looks a little wild at times, I can assure you that nobody was hurt during the movie production.

Building niche sites is the only way for bloggers to really make some decent money online. Building niche sites is what I’m doing right now. I have my hand in about 3 different niche projects all done different. By now I know that building niche sites works with all these 3 methods, but I would still try to see which one works best over time.

You could call this my project studies and the only way I can truly compare the 3 methods with each other is once the niches are up and running. There are actually a lot more ways to build niche sites. Below are ways on how you can build a niche:

Freelance writing jobs really are the bread and butter of freelance writers all around the world. As a freelance writer, we won’t find work unless we go out there and get it. And what easier way to visit a freelance writing job website to get work is there?

It really doesn’t take much to score some freelance writing work within a couple of weeks maximum. In the time since I have been a freelance writer, I focused on mainly 3 sites out of my huge freelance writing job websites resource lists and each of these has allowed me to get various freelance clients. It’s time for another round of blog discoveries link juice here on the Writers Manifesto Blog. I was a little slack lately reading my RSS feeds which kept it hard to stay up do date on what’s happening in the blogosphere.

I also lag behind my Earn $ 300 in 20 Days Case Study. I clearly underestimated the time I would have available for this. But not all is lost. Luckily for me, this won’t run away and since I’ve been rather busy writing for clients, something had to give for the moment.
