Market Saturation, is it a big problem for affiliates?...

Earning $300 in 20 days sounds more achievable than the $5000 a month challenges out there.

Firstly in finding a niche market and then selecting two highly relevant affiliate programs to promote.

I had seen your thread on the forum, but I haven't replied because I wouldn't have been able to help much (plus my mind was set at that personal matter I told you about by email). Anyway, I'm happy that you wrote this:

So guess what, I’m game enough to go after the “make money online niche” for this case study!

Go you! :)

There's really no such thing as a saturated niche. If that was true, then how could you explain this blog's success? There are other blogs out there offering articles on the same subjects you write about here. Yet you've managed to build a great audience, and it will surely become greater and greater in the (near) future.

If all fails, you'll still have a valuable case study to post here and this alone could add a lot to your credibility. But of course I believe you'll get the best of two worlds: success in affiliate marketing + nice case study to share. ;)

I admire your spunk Monika but I just wanted to mention something. I agree that there is no market too saturated to go after - in fact the more competition the better as there will be more money to earn.

but...

The real problem with the "make money online" niche is that you will be selling to IM'ers and they won't use your link. (Your market is limited to complete newcomers who haven't figured this out yet.) This problem only exists in this niche. It is far easier selling shoes to someone looking for shoes than a marketing program to a marketer.

Just my opinion and I know you are a determined soul so you will probably jump right into "make money" anyway but I thought you should think about your market audience first before picking a niche.

I always start with who is buying what and in what quantities at what price and work backwards from there. And that's my 2c. You may disregard my advice at your peril... hehe! Lol
