Blog Discoveries Link Juice

Posted by Monika in Freelance Writing-Bl... | 12.13.2007 - 7:56 pm

It’s time for another round of blog discoveries link juice here on the Writers Manifesto Blog. I was a little slack lately reading my RSS feeds which kept it hard to stay up do date on what’s happening in the blogosphere.

I also lag behind my Earn $ 300 in 20 Days Case Study. I clearly underestimated the time I would have available for this. But not all is lost. Luckily for me, this won’t run away and since I’ve been rather busy writing for clients, something had to give for the moment.

So today I’ve have visited some of my favorite blogs to see what’s happening. And I’m glad I did:

Cheewee of BetShopBoy [NOT Pet Shop Boy :-) ]hit the nail on the head with his R.I.P. post about the Dead of Agloco. I suppose it was failure in the making but that doesn’t make those who invested a lot of time and energy into this very happy.

agloco is dead

Steven over at Vandelay Design wrote a killer post on An Equation for Explosive Blogging Growth. He clearly captured the reason why some seemingly unknown bloggers manage to appear on the top blog radar after only a couple of month.

Mani Karthik of Daily SEO Blog wrote a great post on 7 Steps to Online Success. The post goes into detail on how to optimize your site for Google and shows you step by step on how to.

YC of Internet Marketing Mind says Hope Will Not Pay for Your Meals. And he is spot on with his little insight. Bloggers should stop making excuses and get on with life. Nobody else will do it for them!

Ellesse Chow of Goal Setting College wrote a great motivating posts about new years resolutions and How to Make Your New Years Resolution Work This Time.

You will no doubt spend some time on all these blogs as they are all top notch. What really fascinates me is the variety of these posts. They all fit a simple purpose and that purpose is to make us a better person.

Thanks all - you Rock!

Hey Monika thanks for making me stray off schedule for a good hour or so to read those posts and explore their blogs. I didn’t need any more help procrastinating! LOL.

But really those are some great posts. I’m glad you posted them for us to find.

Some great articles you’ve got listed here! However, I think it’s BetShopBoy, not PetShopBoy. :)

Mani: you are welcome, thanks for stopping by.

Ellesse: I’m sure they will love it. Your blog is fantastic so who wouldn’t anyway!

Trent: oh my, hehehe….I’m guilty until proven wrong. Glad you liked your little exploration. :-)

Tay: you know, I knew that but keep assimilating Cheewee’s name with the Pet Shop Boys (sorry, grew up in the 80s) (is that giving my age away?) :-)
Thanks for telling me anyway, it is now updated to the correct name.

betshopboy: LOL, I have amended the mistake and now there should be no more confusion. :-)

You are right Monica. Now agloco is just a history. Bloggers must always be cautious online.
