The Power of Blogging to Help a Blogger in Need
Richard T Cunningham over at Untwisted Vortex is a familiar face on many of our blogs. But Richard has a problem that most of us are unaware off and he needs our help!
His beautiful and lovely wife Josie is currently in the USA anxiously awaiting an operation to have her tonsils removed. While for most of us in the more civilized world this is not a big issue, for Richard and Josie it is. See, they live in the Philippines and due to many reasons unbeknown to you (unless you read Richards post) she is now in the USA and with Richard being kind of stuck financially over the whole situation.
This is a serious matter for a lovely family and it could be you!
So please, spare a couple of dollars or a couple of hundred and go and donate some money to Richard so he can live on without financial ruin.
We had to convince Richard to actually put a PayPal button on his blog and thanks to Vic at Blogger Unleashed who wrote A blogger in need more and more bloggers have become aware of it already.
Some have blogged about R.T and others like me have both donated and blogged to help as much as we can.
Naomi of IttiBiz has blogged help out a fellow blogger.
Darren Rowse of ProBlogger said help a blogger in need.
Gary Conn wrote John Chow is getting fat (yes he does) and threw in an added mention about R.T. below the post.
Costa of Blog Gigs wrote A Blogger In Need, Needs A Blogger Indeed
I wish R.T and Josie all the best and hope that many bloggers will follow suit to help them out.
Thank you
Monika

Thanks so much for blogging about this, Monika. (And thanks for including IttyBiz.) Hopefully we can really make a difference for Richard and his family – I know they’re in a lot of people’s prayers.

Hey Monica!
I was truly excited to discover that over $3000 dollars was raised in less than 24 hours! Truly surreal and amazing!
