My Way Of Giving Back And Why I Love Feedback

In the last couple of month I have been getting a lot of emails from readers who ask me questions. I love nothing more than being able to help these people with their issues and it makes me really happy when they actually write back after I helped them, saying that it worked and how happy they were by implementing my tips.

the art of giving

When I get those kind of emails I am truly excited as it shows that I was able to give back to the blogging community. The same applies when my ebook readers write to me telling me how I helped them understand something better.

I truly believe that we can never be too generous with our help, regardless of how busy we are. The art of giving is like a giant wave that rolls on and on in the big wide ocean of the Internet. So many people can possibly be positively affected by my simple gesture.

See, when I help Bob (example) he might be so excited and happy to have received free help that he himself is willing to pay forward the favor to another person. Bob might be a beginner in terms of blogging and ask me about cloaking his affiliate links. So off he goes with his new found knowledge and creates a blog post. Along comes Jane who loves Bob’s blog, regardless of the fact that his blog is quite new.

Jane sees that Bob has this really lovely photography displayed on his blog and wonder how he did that. So she asks.

Now Bob remembers that I helped him and because he felt so thankful of receiving free help he wants to do the same – he helps Jane.

Jane is great at creating pod-casts and one of here readers…

Do you see where I’m going with this?

Much like passing out smiles in town to the people we meet (especially the grumpy ones) we can pass out our knowledge when we are approached for help. The thought of starting a huge wave of giving is humbling and exciting at the same time. Many people could possibly be positively affected by our giving and the more we practice the art of giving, the better the world can be.

Like the butterfly effect, giving has a huge impact on many people, not just the person we help directly and that is why I love to give.
