It makes for a lot of fun every day and what would the purpose be of life spent in misery. Self learning - hmm...to be honest, I would suggest getting hold of a really good video/DVD that will walk you through yoga for beginners. Make sure it has the "salute to the sun" in it as this is the best practice to keep fit with minimal exertion. Once you while in the land of sheep, long white clouds, great wine and scenery you will find a suitable person to teach you the basics no doubt. :-) @ Brett: I’m with you on the awareness bit and finding something we love.
