@ Step: I believe in balance and this starts with education. It’s like trying to piece together a puzzle I guess. We need all the pieces of the puzzle to fit the picture.

I’m glad you liked the selection since I value each of those books.

As for the widget, I’m not sure what happened but I think when I posted with WLW it threw some funny code up, took me ages to try to sort out and then I just got a new widget.

Monika: nothing wrong with affiliate links and it’s no effort to click on one if I want or need to! I have quite a few of your suggested books and they are indeed relevant to your article, so I wouldn’t worry about the promotion. They are good references!

I like, too, how you cover several aspects of freelancing: writing itself, self-improvement, perspective, attitude, time management…all important to each other.

I learned a lot from “Made to Stick” and highly recommend to anyone who write.
