Workshops, Zombies And Large Noses
The spotlight today is on for some of my readers. Admittedly I still feel a bit under the radar so I’m handing the mic to you for some after hours reading. First up is Vered from Mom Grind. Her Hannibal Lecter style nose job post made me laugh. Check out her comments too as they are always full of life.
If you are lucky you might even spot Gonzo amongst the crowd. Sorry Writer Dad, I couldn’t resist.
If you feel like filling out a survey that might influence the blogging future of Urban Panther and her sidekick Urban Lion, head over to the Panther’s lair for some fun.
Alex Fayle of the Some Day Syndrome has kicked off with his Living the Life Of Your Dreams Workshop. If I wouldn’t already live the life of my dreams I would seriously join because the price is right.
Brett has scared the sh*t out of me with his gruesome zombie post George A. Romero, Inc. Be warned, it might become bloody. Hehehehe….
To calm down your nerves after all this excitement head over to Friar and do some fishing…what else would the man do with his time anyway. Ah yes, he is fishing while striving for excellence. Now, that is a combination.
So, the stage is all yours guys, enjoy.
Monika

Monika,
Thanks for the pingback! I’d have commented a bit earlier, but for yet another horrific zombie-induced catastrophe at the Factory… hopefully it won’t scare you too much when you read about it in the follow up

@ WD: No worries. You are welcome. I had to laugh when you mentioned the Gonzo since we had a girl at school we called Gonzo too. She did have a big nose and I guess the Muppets were a big thing back then.

@ Brett: As usual you made me crack up with your narrative story. You ought to write a book with stories just like that. Entertaining and educating at the same time.

@ UP: I figured the same. Plus, I think your idea is very good. Asking for reader input on these things, why not. I hope you will get the response you are looking for though.

@ Vered: You are welcome. I’m on the mend now. Another couple of days and I should be back to normal. Just taking things a little more easy.

@ Cath: They were and I had to laugh so much. Especially since I’ve just seen a rerun of the movie last week. “Clarice…ssss..sss.sss”

@ Friar: Balloon head, now that would be worth a cartoon from you. How about a balloon head with no body rowing in a boat without oars. Hehehehe….;-)

I like the zombie post. Not just a horor story but has deep meaning. Reminding us to keep using our brain. Very creative. Thumbs up for Brett!

@Monika,
I had so much fun writing it that I figure I’ll try my hand at some other fiction, that will tie in with the theme of 6 weeks. Stay tuned!

Thanks Kelly! Episode 2 will be coming this Saturday, and I’ve had plenty of (brain) food for thought this week…

I’m a few days behind getting to this. The zombies alone let me know that Brett was around here somewhere! Those zombies of his are getting loose all over the place. By Halloween there will be no stopping them!
Thanks for the great list, I’ve been to most of them already, they are all great reads! glad to hear you are getting up and around!
