Yours Truly Among The Top 40 Freelance Writing Blogs
Every now and then a drop of something tangible, rewarding and exhilarating happens to float into my email inbox. One such lovely surprise was felt by me when I received an email by Tamara over at oDesk. Tamara kindly let me know that my humble blog, Freelance Writing was being listed as one of the top freelance writing blogs on the Internet.
Emails like these and those I receive from gratified readers are really making my day! It feels good to be acknowledged and valued.
It shows me that I’m not wrong when I feel like selling my blog in the darker times and ‘get on with it’ despite my feelings. For all of you out there who know how it feels to invest countless of hours into a blog that doesn’t make any income (except a few bobs here and there) knows how I feel when I speak of the darker times; times taken away from my real business, the one making me money.
So seeing my humble site among some of the freelancing greats and for once NOT at the bottom of the list, but rather high-up makes me all warm and fuzzy inside – it shows me that people do care – even if it is awfully quiet around here at times.
Thank you to Tamara at oDesk for including me in their Top 40 List of Freelance Writing Blogs. Not to forget my valuable – long-time readers who keep me going thanks to their awesome, caring attitude.
