Outsourcing For Beginners
Outsourcing is the art of working on your business and not in your business! The sooner you understand this fundamental truth, the faster your income will rise. If you currently struggle to move your freelance writing business to the next level then you are certainly not using the power of outsourcing. Why not?
When I look at about 95% of freelance writers and their respective struggles I see one common occurence. All of them work in their business. You might say “oh what the heck, why wouldn’t I?” If you just did then you are most likely one of the 95 out of 100 writers who currently struggle.
Outsourcing is about letting go:
The first monumental step to creating an outsourced business is to let go. The sooner you realize you can’t do it all alone – and especially not long term – the better you will fare. We can only work so much before we burn out. I can certainly vouch for this. I have burned out a couple of times since running my business, on both occasions it was before I realized the true power of outsourcing. Outsourcing has catapulted my income from a decent full time level to the stratosphere within a few short months (3 to be exact.)
This only took place once I gave myself permission to let go. I simply can’t do it all and why should I slave away in my business when I can pay others to do the hard work for me while I manage my staff and my clients? Does this mean I don’t write anymore? Heck no, I love writing too much to stop.
What this boils down to is that I don’t work as hard as a few months ago while having grown my income substantially at the same time.
Outsourcing is about trust:
At some stage you have to start trusting others to do as good a job as you do, or perhaps even better. Do you seriously believe that all of the Internet marketing greats do all the work themselves?
If you do then I’m afraid you really don’t understand how the game of SUCCESS works!
Just about EVERY successful person is successful thanks to leverage. Leverage is the power of outsourcing. Learn it and you will be able to print your own money from home. I’m serious folks. It takes guts and trust in your abilities to pull this off, but once you do there is no turning back.
What to outsource?
In case you wonder, I outsource writing, link building, marketing and SEO and soon enough website building. The things I do not outsource at this stage is the control of my growing empire and to be honest I don’t intend to real fast. I do like to preserve some kind of control over my business, but one day I will have to find a business manager who can do these sensitive tasks for me while I enjoy a cocktail or two underneath a palm tree.
Outsourcing is where the money lies in just about any online venture. Start today and build your own team of reliable and capable staff. Click on the banner above if you want to learn how I grew my income within three months!

I could not agree with you more Monika. Outsourcing is the only way to grow your business. Unfortunately for the beginner usually they are flat broke when they turn to the internet for income so outsourcing is not an option.
I am currently trying to employ my husband to do some of my writing for me since he is currently unemployed. I would love it if he would take over some of my sites and propel them to the next level. Unfortunately he is not sold on this idea yet.
I’ve also tried to employ my 18 year old grand daughter to do some of my writing for content sites but she thinks this is all too boring. She would rather hang out on Facebook and Myspace. Go figure!

@ Denise: Some people are simply not born to do “this Internet thing” and that’s perfectly fine. Keep in mind that even as a writer you can outsource tons of other aspects of your business; link building, website creation, article submission, social networking, SEO are only a few.
Even newcomers can outsource early on in their business if they are prepared to pay a little money from their profits. Finding people willing to work for a small fee is easier than you think these days and many of them are actually quite talented (especially if you approach the non-writing crowd.)

Good for you Monika. I’m pleased to read that you’re not running yourself into the ground anymore. And hopefully, on your next cruise, you won’t have to take work with you.
It’s sad but a lot of folk who work alone, either online, or offline, don’t even make a full-time wage because they won’t employ anyone, or outsource work to other people. They wind up spending the majority of their time on tasks that don’t even bring in any money.

@ Cath: Yeah you’re right. However, I will definitely take my laptop with me on my next cruise since I just got my Mac today.
Woohoo. My Xmas pressie to myself. Yeah!
Outsourcing is the ONLY way to supercharge your income. Trust me on this. I hope you are well Cath.
