Not just in writing my fiction but with my blogging as well. I try to, as you say, dip in and out so that I can still spend time with the fam. But your right though, it usually ends up being half assed work. That's not to say I haven't got into that flow right away was able to get out a quality post here and there but for the most part I would be better off sitting down for a long period of time.
